When Cockington met Royalty

The Prince of Wales, along with The Duchess of Cornwall, met staff and volunteers at the 200th anniversary celebration event of HM Coastguard. It was held in the Torre Abbey Grounds. Schools from across the bay were invited to come along and cheer on the Royal couple and show their support. Cockington were one of the lucky few schools who were able to go. The school council went to represent the school. We waited a long time but it was worth it! We even made it onto Spotlight!

Prince Charles asked us how we were able to escape (school)! He then asked us how long we had left of the school term. He and Camilla were very smiley and relaxed.
